The Condition of the Polish Game Industry 2020 report is a comprehensive picture of the games market in Poland, presenting data on both consumers and game development studios. The publication was created in cooperation with GRY-Online S.A and the Polish Gamers Observatory. Publicis Groupe and manaHR were responsible for the research projects for the report. The report was produced thanks to funding from the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Industrial Development Agency and the Interreg Baltic Sea Region programme.

Polish Gamers Research’19

This edition of Polish Gamers Research was expanded to, for the first time, include a component analysing the gaming behaviour of the 56-66 target group and comparing them with younger gamers. The results are very interesting, to say the least, and illustrate the changing attitudes towards gaming as an age-dependent pastime for gamers.

The Condition of the Polish Game Industry 2017 report, created in cooperation with GRY-OnLine S.A and Onet S.A, is a comprehensive picture of the games market in Poland, thanks to which it is possible to understand the current specificity of the Polish video games industry against the background of global trends. This is possible thanks to, among other things, the characteristics of the profile of gamers in Poland, the presentation of the value of the games industry and the key components creating this value. The study was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Ministry of Development, Creative Europe Desk Poland, the Industrial Development Agency, the Polish Games Association and the Indie Game Poland Foundation. The research methodology was supervised by Seweryn Rudnicki, scientist and researcher.

Condition of the Polish Game Industry 2015

In view of the dynamics and development of the games sector market, KPT decided to continue the research project started last year on gamers and their behaviour and to carry out the research also in 2015, extending it to a study of the specifics of the games industry environment. The research was commissioned by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Adam Mickiewicz Institute (Creative Europe Programme) and the Marshal’s Office of the Malopolska Region. A presentation of the report “Condition of the Polish Video Games Industry” was also held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in Warsaw.

Polish Gamers Research 2014

In 2014 Krakow Technology Park, together with partners: Gry-Online and Onet conducted the first such large-scale, unique analysis of the Polish games market. Thanks to it, we got to know the current trends and needs of the gaming community. The results were presented at Digital Dragons 2014.
